Metro Atlanta Recovery Residences (MARR) is a private, non-profit
organization established in 1975 to provide long-term residential treatment
for men and women affected by chemical dependency. MARR is dedicated
to bringing lasting recovery through high-quality, gender-specific treatment
programs.
MARR is accredited by The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare
Organizations (JCAHO), is a member of the National Association of Addiction
Treatment Programs (NAATP), and is fully licensed under the laws of the
State of Georgia. MARR operates over 40 recovery residences and is
recognized as one of the most cost-effective treatment programs in the
United States.
A Board of Trustees oversees the organization to assure that the mission is
achieved and that MARR remains a leader in the treatment of chemical
dependency. Each trustee demonstrates leadership, community involvement,
philanthropy, professional and/or personal achievement, as well as an
ongoing commitment to the values and mission of MARR.
Today, MARR continues the tradition of setting the standard in long-term
residential treatment for chemically dependent men and women.
