The Alumni Cares Network Presents

Four Nights of Impact

“You’ve got to give it away to keep it” is a common phrase in the recovery world. However, these nine words are not only commonplace – they are true. When the founders of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) carried the message of recovery to those suffering from alcoholism, they discovered a primary component of long-term sobriety: service work.

In an effort to stay sober and help others recover, MARR’s Alumni Cares Network presents “Four Night of Impact.” We will prepare and serve dinner to residents at The Extension – a non-profit, community-supported organization in Marietta that provides addiction treatment services to homeless men and women – on a quarterly basis. Following dinner, alumni members are encouraged to attend a Big Book study with the residents.

Please join us in carrying the message of recovery and sharing the sunlight of the Spirit. Let’s offer HOPE to our fellows!

Sometimes busy schedules hinder us from offering our time to help those in early recovery. If you would like to participate in “Four Nights of Impact” but cannot attend the events, the Alumni Cares Network accepts and appreciates donations. Click here to contribute. (In the ‘Use my gift for’ section, be sure to check the box titled Alumni Cares Network.)
