- What is MARR?
MARR is a gender specific, residential, long-term treatment program for the chemically addicted and has served clients and their families for over 30 years.
- Who does MARR serve?
MARR serves adult men and women, aged 18 years and older, whose primary diagnosis is substance abuse or dependence. This can include certain dual-diagnose, addicted professionals with licensing issues, and individuals with legal issues.
- How do I find out if I qualify for treatment at MARR?
Call our Assessment Team number (678) 805-5131 or (800) 732-5430 between 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday, for information and assessment.
- What are the program costs?
The cost for each program can be found under the "Fees" link for that specific program.
- Does MARR take insurance?
MARR is an out-of-network treatment provider. Levels of benefits vary based on the particular insurance plan. To obtain your benefit eligibility, call the health/substance abuse phone number provided on the back of your insurance card. After admission, insurance will be billed and reimbursement will be credited to the payor. Patients are responsible for the entire cost of the program regardless of insurance coverage.
- Is MARR a voluntary treatment facility?
Yes, MARR is a private non-profit treatment center that takes voluntary patient admissions.
- Where do patients live?
Patients live in 2 or 3-bedroom apartment homes within a few miles of their program's administrative office. Exact locations are not disclosed for the protection of our clients.
- How do I know MARR's treatment will work?
As with any medical or mental health program, there are no guarantees of success. However, MARR offers a comprehensive treatment program that follows NIDA's recommendation of 90 days for long-term recovery, full medical support, certified and licensed clinicians, in a program that is JCAHO accredited and has successfully treated thousands of individuals over the past 30 years.
