The MARR South Program offers a ninety-day, structured intensive residential treatment program that gradually guides men back into a balanced lifestyle of recovery. The program is based on the therapeutic community model of treatment. Each client is accountable to his community for developing his program of recovery and is responsible to other community members to help them do the same.
All clients must obtain appropriate employment within the first two weeks after admission. Employment provides their daytime structure. Education and therapy groups and 12-Step meetings are required in the evening. The men also have structure on weekends including attendance at a worship service of choice on Sunday. Please refer to the house schedule for more detail.
In addition to weekly therapy groups, clients will have individual sessions available to them based on need. Upon successful completion of the ninety-day program, clients will develop a continuing care plan with their counselor/house manager, which may include admission into the Extended Recovery Residence.
The Extended Recovery Residence is optional for those men requiring more time in a safe environment before returning to their lives outside of treatment.
