Right Side Up is a Ready for Work program and is a collaborative effort between The Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Addictive Diseases (DMHDDAD) and Department of Human Resources (The Division of Family and Children's Services (DFACS). Right Side Up is a Women's Gender Specific Program and promotes family preservation by allowing women to enter substance abuse treatment and to bring their children with them. Children also receive individualized services.

The main goal of this program is to provide support for the necessary lifestyle changes needed to achieve and maintain long-term recovery and to remove substance abuse as a barrier to employment, This program also assists women with retaining and regaining custody of their children.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR OUR SERVICES?
- Residents of Dekalb, Fulton, Gwinnett, Rockdale, and Newton Counties
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) recipients with a diagnosis of substance abuse and/or substance dependence
- Women with active Child Protective Service cases with DFACS
- Pregnant or post partum women with children ages 13 and under (no more than three (3) children allowed to come into treatment with mother)
