  • Do we (RSU) take walk-ins?
RSU does not accept walk-ins, all potential clients must first complete a phone assessment to determine their eligibility for our program. An appointment for intake is scheduled only when the phone assessment and relevant documentation has been gathered.

  • What documentation is necessary to enter treatment at RSU?
All incoming clients must have a valid picture ID, social security card, and/or birth certificate. All children entering treatment with their mothers must have social security cards, birth certificates or confirmation of births, immunization records, and/or school records. All incoming clients and children ages 5 and over must have a PPD (TB) test placed and read before entering treatment.

  • If accepted into RSU's program, what am I allowed to bring?
Accepted clients should only bring clothing, toiletries, and personal hygiene items for themselves and their children. We do not allow cell phones, TV's, DVD players and VCRs. If clients wish to bring their own sheets (twin size only), towels, pillows, etc ... they may. RSU would like for client's to restrict the amount of items they bring to just their necessities, at first. After settling in, clients are allowed to have family and friends drop off additional items to RSU's Administrative building. If you have any specific questions, you may call RSU's intake coordinator at 678-808-5100, for further information.
