It’s a new year at MARR – a new fiscal year!
We’ve had a lot of changes in a short period of time but our mission, programs, and core values have not wavered: MARR is dedicated to bringing lasting recovery to individuals and families through intensive, high-quality, gender-specific recovery programs.
MARR’s Fund Development Department raises critical funds for areas that client fees do not cover: scholarship support for those with financial need; upgrades to the resident apartments at all three programs (furniture, kitchen supplies, and more), and additional support for MARR’s Right Side Up for women and children. MARR is a nonprofit and your gifts are tax deductible.
For FY23, in addition to the Celebration of Recovery Banquet, Fund Development has an exciting plan to challenge current donors, alumni, volunteers, and staff. We are kicking off this plan by inviting you to invest in and to share MARR. Here’s how:
- Donate $10 (or more!) for every year of your recovery or give in honor of a counselor, in honor or memory of a friend, in gratitude for your family, or in support of your community.
- Forward this email to at least one person and sharing why MARR is important to you. No need to ask for a donation – just share MARR.
- Share one MARR social media post on your personal social media.
All gifts made using the link below in July and August will go to “where most needed” unless otherwise requested. We will enter ALL names that donate any amount for a drawing for a free MARR t-shirt – and we will draw multiple names on August 31.
