Meet Michelle Hezlep

Job Title: Men’s Recovery Center Nurse
Credentials: RN, ASN
Education Background: Michelle graduated with her nursing degree from Perimeter College in 2010.
Work History: Michelle has experience working in a wide range of specialties within a hospital setting, including orthopedics, trauma, and labor and delivery. She has also worked in ambulatory surgery, interventional pain and urology. Michelle joined the MARR family as a nurse at MRC in January 2022.

“I’m an alumnus of MARR’s Traditions Recovery Center for Women, and the staff, volunteers and alumni saved my life. That’s a debt I can never repay. Recovery has taught me that we only keep what we have by giving it away. Working at MARR gives me the opportunity to be a part of that change for other individuals who are struggling with addiction. As a nurse at MARR, I interact with clients on their very first day of treatment. I see firsthand the physical effects of their addiction. I get to watch them come back to life as the light comes back into their eyes and color comes back to their faces. I watch as they learn to care for their bodies, that they’ve neglected for so long. I am honored that I get a front row seat to witness these miracles every day!”
